Are your children hard-working collectors too? My husband and I are not always enthusiastic about the many finds - on the other hand we think that childlike collecting deserves to be taken seriously. Not only because it is an independent action that cannot be controlled by us adults, but also because it is an aesthetic experience. Most of the time, the collection begins with very small children, who already collect beautiful things for their senses during their first steps. With increasing age, collecting often becomes more systematic.
During our holidays we found a lot of beautiful shells. During yesterday's morning walk it was once again round stones that crept into the children's trouser pockets. After it rained more or less the whole day, we decided to paint the collected stones.
We took brushes and acrylic paints out of our cupboard and put them on a paper plate.
First of all we painted the stones all around with a wide brush and put them on for drying.
Then we started to apply various patterns with fine brushes - stripes, stains, spirals, circles, dots - the children were completely absorbed and calm and let their imagination run wild - we all enjoyed this time very much.
A nice week start and all love
wishes you the family BADALA!
